Conveyancing Assistant

A prominent law firm in King’s Lynn is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their very busy conveyancing department.

Duties will include:

  • Managing a secretarial and administrative workload
  • Opening files, complying with all the relevant compliance procedures
  • Dealing with initial and final stages of a conveyancing transaction
  • Attending clients and others on the telephone and at the office
  • Preparing post
  • Maintaining files and records
  • Maintaining calendars and making appointments
  • Ensuring efficient turnaround of work

Discretion and confidentiality are paramount, with a knowledge of office procedures, Microsoft office products, and protocols will be essential
Experience of legal case management systems would be helpful and the ability to multi task and working as part of a team are essential

Qualifications:

  • Administrative experience
  • Communication skills
  • Typing proficiency
  • Audio typing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Basic IT skills
