Gearing up for Will Aid 2026

The team at Hawkins Ryan is already looking ahead to September for a very special reason. September marks the official opening of the booking window for Will Aid 2026, the UK’s annual charity will-writing campaign. While the appointment month itself is November, booking early is vital as our slots fill up rapidly every single year.

During the campaign, participating solicitors waive their standard fees for writing basic Wills, inviting clients instead to make a voluntary donation to Will Aid (£120 for a basic single Will or £200 for mirror Wills). This incredible initiative supports nine of the UK’s best-loved charities, including Shelter who recently visited our King's Lynn Office to say thanks for our contributions over the last 13 years.

It is a true win-win: clients gain the vital peace of mind that comes with a professionally drafted Will, while simultaneously supporting life-changing charitable work.

At Hawkins Ryan, we are immensely proud to be the East of England’s largest contributor to the Will Aid scheme among local solicitors. Thanks to our wonderful clients, we raised a staggering £5,475 in 2025 alone, bringing our running total to an amazing £34,537 raised since 2012. Every pound donated represents a tangible difference made to vulnerable people, and we are determined to build on this success.
