Lexcel First for Hawkins SolicitorsMarch 13, 2012 | Hawkins Ryan
Hawkins has become the first firm of solicitors in West Norfolk to be awarded the prestigious Lexcel accreditation by the Law Society.
For the last 6 months, Hawkins Solicitors has spent significant time and effort working towards achieving the Law Society’s international practice management standard. It has been an extremely thorough and rigorous assessment process, resulting in an accreditation which is only awarded to solicitors who meet the ‘highest standards in management and customer care’.
This process has seen the partners, fee earners and support staff work closely together to ensure the swift and strict implementation of procedures and standards designed to develop effective risk management, a more efficient practice and in turn, a more profitable practice, whilst continuously maintaining the highest standards of client care.
In February 2012, the firm welcomed Lexcel assessors for a grueling two day assessment, which was completed on the 13th February. Upon completion of the assessment, the firm was delighted to discover that not only had the assessment been passed but, but with ‘flying colours’.
Senior partner, Paul Sheerin said of the assessment:-
“The assessor(s) remarked particularly on the quality of Hawkins file management, the systems we had implemented and the obvious positive attitude of all partners and staff towards the whole Lexcel ethos”.
In addition, Paul was keen to stress that the firm should continue to build on the excellent standards already implemented and was emphatic that Hawkins should maintain a “resolute refusal to accept anything other than the very highest standards”.
After receiving formal notification from the Law Society of the Lexcel Accreditation at the beginning of the week, the firm is proud to announce that Hawkins represent the first firm of solicitors in King’s Lynn and indeed, West Norfolk, to achieve such accreditation.
