Hawkins Ryan response to COVID-19

March 18, 2020 | ,

The firm is still open for business and working as normally as possible. Our first priority is the safety of our staff and our clients and to that end we are heeding the advice of the government and Public Health England to limit the physical contact between individuals. As a consequence, as many of our staff as possible are working from home and we are trying to restrict face to face contact.

Our offices in King’s Lynn and Dersingham remain open and manned but we do ask that for the time being you only come to our offices by appointment.* Please ring 01553 691661 to discuss your matter and so that a decision can be made between you and one of our specialist lawyers, as to whether communication needs to be face to face or whether it can be over the telephone, by email or by video link which we can arrange with you via Zoom Video Conferencing.

Although most of our specialist lawyers are working from home, they are still contactable by email and telephone. They are all connected to their direct dial office numbers so if you know that number, you can still connect direct to them.

Finally, if you are exhibiting any signs of Covid-19 – a persistent dry cough or a high temperature – please do heed the advice of Public Health England and self-isolate yourself at home. We would be delighted to speak to you over the telephone but not at our offices.

*During the COVID-19 situation, our main office and switchboard will close at 16.00hrs, Monday to Friday. Our Dersingham office is only open for pre-arranged meetings. Many of our staff are working from home, and so they can be contacted by either their direct dial numbers or via email.
